Volunteers Enjoy Dinner and a Show

Every year it is customary for the Housing Authority to give an appreciation dinner for certain residents that volunteer their time and efforts to help make their neighborhoods a better place to live. The event is by invitation only.

In 2004, for the first time, the Resident Association was asked to sponsor the event. It was held at the Carousel Dinner Theater on April 29. Several volunteers attended and were awarded for their efforts by small tokens of appreciation, dinner and a presentation of Miss Saigon by the theater company.

If anyone desires to be a part of the invitation list for next year's volunteer appreciation dinner, there are parameters to volunteering your time. Of course, our suggestion would be for you to attend Resident Association meetings and volunteer your time to help! Please consider it - it sure would be appreciated!
