SMHA Resident Association By Laws - Our By Laws define the purpose, goals and regulations under which we operate as a Resident Association.

CFR 24 Part 964 Subpart B (307Kb) - this section of the Code of Federal Regulations concerns Tenant Participation and Tenant Opportunities in Public Housing. It is the very heart of regulation that provides for Resident Associations to exist. This PDF file also is annotated for your benefit. Please scroll down through the whole document as it contains the purpose, role, funding, elections, etc. of Resident Associations. Also, one of the last sections applies to the role of Resident Commissioner Board Members.
PIH Notice 2001-3 (13Kb) - this Public Indian Housing notice contains the funding parameters of a Resident Association and how the association must expend funds.
